Amy Friesen is a best-selling author, educator, and expert in retirement living. Amy is very passionate about helping seniors and their families navigate an industry that she loves. She has always been motivated by the belief that seniors and caregivers need to be supported, aware, and informed when making important life transitions. Amy has worked with seniors and their families in Long-Term Care and Retirement Living since 2005.
In 2014, Amy founded Tea & Toast, an Ottawa-based business that helps families navigate the complicated senior living industry.
Amy’s innovative, fresh style reflects her vision and passion for her work. A popular and much sought-after speaker, Amy is well-known in the community. She is an active volunteer and frequently engages with agencies and local businesses to raise awareness and advocate for seniors.
Amy was recognized by the House of Commons for her 2018 Businesswoman of the Year and 2019 Forty Under 40 Awards.
